N.Y.C. : second days.

Good afternoon / morning / night gentlewomen & gentlemen!

Here is our second meeting in NYC !
After a very nice but short night, awaken at 7h, we had a nice little walk in the city. Incredible how small this town makes you feel... You are always, wherever you are, surrounded buy buildings hundreds time bigger than you. You almost see no sky, or for this you have to look right above your head. Fortunately enough, those buildings are rather good-looking, as far as a building can be good-looking. I mean, mostly modern, clean, shiny, and impressive. And as I said yesterday, they make you feel you are acting in a movie. Funny feeling.
And that crowd, oh my Darwin... Soooo many people, in any place. And so diveerse, amazing. There is always something happening somewhere. You saw this yesterday with the pictures of the cowgirl, I saw this kind of event happening again : a volleyball match with disabled women, kind of sitting or lying on the floor, but playing volleyball, rotating after each point and so on. This city is definitely alive, moving and blossoming. Awesome feeling, in spite of the jetlag.

Here are the pictures.

Saint Paul, or Saint Patrick. Can't remember All Saints. Never Ever. ... haha I made me laugh myself.

 Poussez, madame, poussez.

Yes I am.

The MoMA
And Then... The MoMA, Museum of Modern Art. Soooo ... "interesting". Well, a lot of amazing things, a lot well known such as the postcard-sized "Montres Molles" from Dali, or the fucking bl**dy pi*ece of cr*wling shit (oops, I screwed my censure stuff...) "White on White". I took the picture this way on purpose. At least, this composition shows something well painted. Congrat's to the wall painter. Thanks Crapzimir Malevich for painting the thing located just on the right -outside- of my picture. Man !! Why the Hell are these lousy things exposed ? No beauty, no skill, no reflection, no color, nofuckingthing. C'mon... I'm sure he's making fun of us as much as JCVD does... Anyway.

'course I took this following picture. The only figurative AND relevant thing in this museum. Wonderful sum up of what I feel about "modern art".

Some of them, at least, have a sense of humor.

So, I'm exaggerating a bit about Modern Art. Some of the artistes are artists, and show something, either creativity, skill, feelings. Even if it's not "figurative". I appreciated a lot this museum, truth be told.

I found this picture fun. Could be an executive desk in an advertising company.

Here we were :)

Then we went to Ground Zero. Keep this in mind : you have to book onlin, though the entrance is free, in order to be able to go inside. We hadn't. So we went to sit in Battery Park. A bank, a sunset, santiags, and Statue de la Liberté.

Here is the replacer of the WTC :

I put this one in supersize if you want to set it as a wallpaper. Loved it.

Work... We had a bit.

Sorry. I HAD to take this picture. Please enjoy this, along with the memorable scene.

Later in the afternoon of an other day...

As a reminder : I play in this theater show on May 27th, in Rambouillet. Yeah, not in NYC, fees were a bit too high. But If you're around Rambouillet, please come and see us play "Mort d'un Commis Voyageur". End of ad. :o)

NYC by night. Quite as living as by day. Most of the following pictures were taken at the top of the 320, an incredible roof bar where you have, apart from a winderful sight, the right to borrow for free a bathrobe. Awefrickingsome.

Sankt Pauli ever.

And Santiags.

A Shaolin Monk and his pupil.

The way back home was pretty fun. We took the metro (which runs during the whole night. RATP, if you read it...) that we had to cheat because the casher didn't have enough change. So, under his very eyes, we had to say "Well... sorry" and crawl under the bars. He didn't say a word. He just looked at us, unruffled, indifferent. One of us said, as apologize : "Sorry, we're French". He didn't laugh. We did. Anyway. There were hats painted on the wall. Under my humble direction, we took a few funny pictures.

This last picture proves us in which extent collaboration is the base of any successful work.

That's all for today, hope you enjoyed it !! Tomorrow, or monday, dunno, I'll write a last article with the few pictures I've left. Nothing very relevant, don't worry.

Hugz !
