Frank Rihannatra sang it : I went by myself.

OK Folks !!
Here we are again, on the road, heading to New York City, New York, United States of Ammmmmericaaaaaa !!
Thanks (again) to my lovely school (see the ranking here, they deserve the honor, check the two "Arts et Métiers ParisTech" references), I have been sent to NYC in order to attend a few professionnal and fascinating seminaries about International HR, Compensation and Benefits, Expatriation, Cultural information and other key keys in our International HR Careers. Awesome stuff, amazing experiences, valuable training. OK, we're set with the presentations, let's get to da point : the city, the Big Apple, the place to be if you want to work in US (among a lot of other ones, my pinky is telling me ☺). Let's say : one of the hottest places in US in terms of business. Anyway.

Let's talk about me !!
We were hosted in a nice starred Hotel, called Manhattan Hotel on Times Square. Near Broadway, leading to Central Park and Times Square, not that far from Ground Zero, and all the heart of NYC. Nicely located indeed.
No special plan, apart from enjoying time, weather perfect from 1st to last day. Started raining at the moment we got on the bus. True story, litteraly. Lucky as a cuckold, as we say in French.

aN.Y.way.

Here are a few of the pictures I took. Perdon my tired eyes. Perdon my French. Perdon my débonnaire je-ne-sais-quoi which brought these wonderful pics to you.

The following pictures were allowed by the busty authorization of this Cindy Fox called woman. I exchanged a pair of dollars for a pair of... pictures ? She was... erm... a good guitar player, as fas as I can remember. Well, she looks like a good actress, too. And very kind to me, as she offered me to take the last of these 3 pictures, pictures that none of the other 20 tourists I watched had been entitled to take.

... I will never, ever wash my shirt again.

After the Boobs, the Bob. Sorry.

Couldn't resist...

Was sad but fascinated...

Haha needed 10 seconds walking to process this image in my mind. Took me 10 more to understand how I had got myself mistaken. And 10 more to take the picture. Frickin' jetlag.

The interesting thing in the US, or at least in NYC, is that what you see is what you get. It was an amazing thing I felt (along with a bunch of other friends of mine there) : everything seems already well known, seen, or famous. It started with my first dollar, if you remember this article.Every typically american item looks like a movie accessory, any junkfood makes you look like a cop, any building makes you feel you're about to see Eddie Murphy or John Travolta pop out on the emergency stairs (I know, the "Beverly Hills Cop" movie did not happen in NYC, t'was just an exmaple...). Anyway : here they are.

Joke for froggies !!! :D

Wooden escalators... Why not ?

Now, a few pictures from night. The City which never Sleeps. Kind of. ... Pero no es la única, si me acuerdo bien, che ;-)

A Vampire Truck !!! Feaaaar !!!

Cuz, well...

I told you : someone famous is always ready to pop out of somewhere.

That's all for today : I might show up within a few days with a few other pictures. Few other surprises : art, air views, stupid jokes, and maybe metro. Keep in touch, thanks for being so loyal (or idle hahaha).

Love y'all !
