Río Gallegos !

At fricking last, we arrived !
This good dam bus left say 2h30 late, and we arrived at Río Gallegos too late for me to take the Ushuaia shuttle... Girls could take theirs, and therefore we splitted. *sigh*

A special thought for them who helped me to start moving. Let's be honest : I enjoyed my life sooo much in BsAs, en el Hostel del Sol (that I highly recommend, for heaven's sake, if you go to BsAs, go to 1590, Marcelo T de Alvear, 2ndo Piso !!), that it was difficult for me to leave it. I mean, I had a job, a nice room, awesome friends, informal english and spanish lessons, and so on. But, well... the idea of moving, visiting, and so on was growing somewhere in my chest.
So, when I heard these 3 lovely British ladies were about to go to South, I "go for it'd" myself and rudely invited myself. This was, apparently, and as far as I'm concerned, a bloody good choice. Awesome time with them. Entonces, as they are going West to El Calafate, I'm staying to Río Gallegos, waiting for my bus tomorrow.

Le Routard told me : it's a transfer city. No many things to do here, almost nothing to visit, no architecture to stare at, and no must-be-eaten-in restaurant. But ! A few pictures anyway :)

Before quitting Puerto Madryn, just 2 pictures to show you this strange atmosphere that I feel in any of the southern cities. Near the "borders" of the city, you always have that strange "desert" like sensation. Look :

I've had a walk on the beach, as well, which was quite nice, before people woke up =)

Yeah, timer focused on the wall... Why not !

A few pictures from the bus. Nothing very new, but still, I witnessed a delightful sunset while watching "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey, and being very disappointed by the poor quality of dubbing. Still, good movie :)

 Even blurred, it's viewtiful !

The kind of place you'd have preferred not to run out of gas in...

I finally arrived in Rio Gallegos !!
Aaaah, artists... Always here to finish artworks !

Look at this perfect simple sober clean 1-person room !! Almost first in 3 months !

No, it's not shot in black and white...

The museum of the pionneers :

These walls must be deaf, today...

French model. Cocorico.

And now, the cumbia live free concert ! Very good music, interesting crowd, 14-18 year old, highly pierced on face, wearing Parisian suburbs cloths, and smoking cigarettes.

That's all, Folks !!
Tomorrow : Ushuaia. =)
