Hey loyal followers, shadowy stalkers, and feverish lovers : here I am again ! In Porto Alegre, yes sir !
So, you're gonna ask me : how comes you went this far ? In a country you barely speak the language, and everything ?
I'll have only one unique word : freedom.
Or : craziness.
Or : opportunity.
Or : friendship.
Well, many reasons for this travel : I met someone in the Hostel who lived in Porto Alegre, and I decided to make my way to Porto Alegre to meet her, and a veeeery good friend of mine I knew as well. And I decided to visit Brasil a bit.
Well, things are happening weird, but still many things to learn about ourselves !! When God or his friends used to say "Tu enfanteras dans la douleur" ("you'll give birth with pain") I think it works as well for learning !! Hence pictures.
First night, 8sec apertura capture !
The day after, we went to a parc, including a zoo. Broken in time optimizers, we arrived 4min before closing, so here are the only pictures I managed to take... MONKEYS !!!! :D
Well, the rest of the park remains very nice as well. Inolvidable blue sky, nice water, perfect temperature. Paradise.
Axel Foley, where are you ?
My friend is a blur-master.
Maaaany couples hanging out there... I managed to take a picture of ones who were not kissing like hell. T'was difficult.
Hormigão !
♥
And the night... I was sleeping when a huuuge sound of percussion, guitare, tuba, and others woke me up. It was a sort of "fanfare", "carnaval" thing. Awesome.
I don't know if you can see it on the videos, but music players were walking playing around an oooold cart on which a smokey and noisy generator which fed a few speakers. The whole thing was barely rolling on the road, sometimes almost falling, and a few drunk dancers had to hold this Tim Burton-like noisy and smokey monster to avoid it falling apart.
Incredible. Truely loved it.
A few pictures, though :
Glad to have some news from you my friend.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy (actually I think you enjoy them :) ) the possibilities and opportunities you have there.
The more time pass the more I wonder if I would like to do something like you, but maybe in the US or Canada...
Anyway, stay safe Tyl, and rest safely, chat with your friends, and come back to tell us about all your experiences!
